Dry weather will continue into Sunday. Skies will be sun filled and we’ll be able to enjoy another mild day before unsettled weather returns late tonight.
Monday will be wet for the majority of New England. Temperatures will stay in the 40s and low 50s – expect a raw, damp feel in the air. Northern Maine will remain cold enough for a prolonged period of moderate snow. Heavy amounts of snow are possible. Things don’t improve Tuesday. There have been some significant tends towards a more wintry solution going into Tuesday. If rain changes to snow, we could see some minor accumulations away from the coast and north of the Mass Pike. It’s still too early to dive into details on amounts right now.
Temperatures moderate to seasonable levels by mid week and the sunshine will return my Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately, another round of unsettled weather is possible next weekend. Temperatures will stick in the low to mid 50s.
Keep in mind the Red Sox Home Opener is Tuesday and the Boston Marathon is a week from Monday. Both days look unsettled!
