Authorities have called off the search for a missing Wentworth University student who was last seen early Saturday morning in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood.
Maximillian Carbone, 19, was last seen at a party in the Allegheny Street area between 1 and 2 a.m.
More than 100 people assembled at the university around 7a.m. on Sunday to search for Carbone.
The search was called off on Sunday shortly after 8a.m. and crime scene tape was set up on the corner of New Cedar and Terrace Streets in Roxbury.
Carbone is described as 5’10” tall, 150 pounds with a thin build, and has thick curly brown hair. He was last seen wearing a green Heineken T-shirt, Patagonia sweatshirt and khaki pants.
Officials at Wentworth said they are assisting police with the investigation.
“The university is staying close to the young man’s family members, offering full support and helping to keep them informed on any progress into the BPD investigation,” read a statement from Wentworth.
